The project ABSOLUT II deals with the following work packages and tasks.
Work package 1 contains all the work on the content specifications for the R & D activities, such as the catalogue of requirements and the overall concept. Furthermore, this AP also coordinates their validation after the completion of the development work by elaborating test concepts and evaluation processes based on the created requirements catalogues.
Work package 2 covers all project coordination and project management activities for the consortium. Regular reporting as well as risk management and stakeholder management are anchored as well as representation and networking of the project in the public.
With the expansion of the control center and the development of the new workplace of the Technical Inspection (TA) in Work Package 3, we create the opportunity to integrate the autonomous shuttle seamlessly into the public transport landscape. Particular attention is paid to the manoeuvring interface for vehicles in minimum risk condition and to the effective connection and processing of the data we receive from the shuttle and from the public transport infrastructure.
In order for the transport company to ensure automated operation even in borderline cases, Work Package 4 ensures that the shuttle is connected to the control centre and adds a function for collision avoidance.
The aim of Work Package 5 is to implement the processes and delivery paths for dynamic and highly accurate traffic and infrastructure data platform-independent for highly automated driving and thus create a reference solution for municipal infrastructure operators.
Work package 6 ensures the technically correct integration of all the results developed in the work packages in order to guarantee the overall networking and system integration.
Work package 7 includes the design of testing technologies to ensure compliance with the provisions of the AFGBV during the main investigation and the accompanying legal research.
Work package 8 includes the new development and adaptation of the customer and backend system for ABSOLUT II, compatible with LVB's Flexa platform already in operation.
